Diabla | Funky Contract has unveiled Ribbons, a new outdoor furniture collection that reinterprets artisanal weaving through a contemporary, contract-focused lens. Designed by Bandada Studio, the collection brings renewed relevance to traditional craftsmanship while responding to the durability and flexibility demands of today’s hospitality and public-space projects.

Rooted in Valencian heritage, Ribbons draws inspiration from handcrafted wicker furniture and classic weaving techniques. Rather than replicating tradition, the collection translates it into a modular system that feels familiar yet distinctly modern. Conceived specifically for the contract channel, Ribbons is positioned as a statement collection that balances character, comfort and robustness, making it suitable for both private gardens and high-traffic outdoor environments.

The range includes a two-seat sofa, dining armchair and lounge chair, all sharing a consistent design language defined by generous proportions and an expressive woven seat. The structure is made from powder-coated aluminium, while the seating surface is created using polypropylene textile straps. These materials have been selected to ensure durability, weather resistance and zero maintenance, allowing the furniture to withstand sun, rain and intensive use without compromising visual impact.
